Saturday's & Sunday's Races are cancelled.
Sunday Morning Coffee is cancelled.
Sunday After Race Social is cancelled.
Sunday's Annual Meeting for Members is postponed until Sunday, September 4th at 11:00 a.m.
Ben's BBQ this Saturday night is postponed until a date to be determined.

Is that for real? Is Britain expecting a hurricane right now? According to our news, the only place in the world that matters is New York City, there is no weather anywhere else on the planet right now. So you must be mistaken.

I was comparing the similarity of the place names between here, and NEW England.
They are all very similarly named places.

I was guilty of reading too fast and making assumptions, but I'm so glad you're not in the way of a hurricane. Do you get them in Old England?

ReplyDeleteWhen I started reading your blog post Bernard, you had me worried too and then I got to the bottom bit - phew. Saying that, I think all our thoughts are with those folk caught up, right now, in the havoc of Hurricane Irene. Have a good break and when you've recharged - we'll be looking out for you when you get back
